Simply Yourself, LLC was founded by Gilda Mack, a passionate and experienced fitness professional dedicated to improving lives through accessible and effective exercise. As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, ACE certified Fitness Instructor in the Tampa Bay Area, Gilda brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her work.

Gilda created Simply Yourself with a core belief: exercise is for everyone. This is why Simply Yourself partnered with Silver Sneakers to serve our senior communities and retirement facilities by offering qualified Silver Sneakers members free fitness classes. Our classes are designed to meet the unique needs and abilities of older adults. At Simply Yourself, we are committed to improving lives through a variety of programs:

  • Silver Sneakers Group Exercise: With Silver Sneakers you’re free to move and chair support is offered to safely perform in class. Check your eligibility online in seconds. Available at no cost for adults 65 and older through select Medicare plans. Designed for Seniors.
    • Silver Sneakers Classic: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.
 
    • Silver Sneakers Yoga: Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing poses designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

  • Virtual Group Fitness: We offer a diverse schedule of classes to address all aspects of senior fitness, often utilizing a chair for support and modification:
    • Functional Fitness aimed to strengthen and coordinate muscle groups that are used in common activities, such as: Walking, Running, Lifting objects, bending down, climbing stairs, and reaching overhead.
    • Strength Training for Strong Bones uses light weights, resistance bands, or bodyweight to safely build and preserve muscle mass and enhance bone density (to help combat osteoporosis).
    • Balance & Fall Preventiontargeted exercises and drills designed to improve stability, core strength, and confidence on your feet. Essential for reducing the risk of falls.
    • Low-Impact Cardio & Dance Fun, easy-to-follow aerobic movements to safely elevate your heart rate and improve cardiovascular endurance and stamina.
    • Gentle Yogatailored for Strength & Flexibility, especially helpful for mobility or joint limitations.
       
  • Private One-on-One Training for Women – Our private sessions offer the ultimate personalized approach to fitness. We’ll work together one-on-one to create a safe, targeted routine that directly addresses your unique goals, whether it’s improving bone density, mastering balance, or regaining strength for daily life.
